There’s no bigger honor than when a fellow photographer hires you to photograph their family. With so many different photographers in all styles here on the OBX, I’m always super honored when someone chooses me to document their family memories. Kat is an AMAZING newborn/maternity photographer and I loved getting to work with her sweet family! Family Beach Portraits here on the Outer Banks are a little more unique than a traditional family portrait session you might be used to in other areas. Our sessions are typically a fusion of traditional and lifestyle/documentary. We always spend the first part of the session getting that picture-perfect smiling family portrait you know and love, but the second half of the session is all about having fun! The beach is a fun place for kids, and we want to make sure it stays that way! There’s nothing more magical than watching children experience the ocean for the first time! These boys could not have been more full of joy splashing in the water and jumping over waves!
