I may be biased, but I think I have the most gorgeous little sister ever! At least once a year I try to do updated photos of Mabel, and I can’t believe she’s getting ready to turn 16! It blows my mind she’s getting her drivers license in just a few short months, and before we know it she’ll be heading off to college. I can’t wait! Gone are the days I’ll have to do my own grocery shopping, and being able to text her to bring me a cup of coffee so I don’t have to leave my house is going to be life changing…ha! Payback for all the years I had to (and still do) cart her around where she needs to go. Such is life when you have a sibling born when you’re a teenager. She is such a sweet soul, always thinking of others. A girl after my own heart, she’s been my “mini me” since day 1. She loves monograms, coffee, and riding horses as much as I do. I am so proud of the gorgeous young woman she has become!
This fall we had a gorgeous day, and with a last minute cancellation, I sent her a text and told her to get ready that we were going out for photos. Downtown Manteo is one of my favorite places to photograph, with so many awesome nooks and spots to tuck into. We spent the afternoon wandering around to some of my go-to spots while I captured some of my favorite photos of my sister ever! I’m absolutely LOVING her adorable dress from Sleeping In, a local shop found in Downtown Manteo.
