Matt & Nicole’s Bodie Island Lighthouse Engagement Session // Outer Banks Engagement Photographer

Matt & Nicole’s Outer Banks Engagement Session gave me serious Nicolas Sparks vibes and we’re loving it! We had an unusually “calm” weather day, despite it being overcast – which I think just made our time spent at the Bodie Island Lighthouse even better. We started out on the walkway before heading up to the overlook and the stillness of the marsh water made the perfect backdrop for some of my favorite photos from the whole session! After that we headed over to Coquina Beach for some sand time, and the beach was secluded so we couldn’t have been more lucky! Nicole told me before their session that they really wanted to get wet – and I’m always happy to make it happen. Our last shots of the session were in the water and they didn’t disappoint. We’re so excited to be heading out today to photograph their OBX Wedding at The Currituck Club!
