Roxanne & Nick’s White Doe Inn Wedding //Outer Banks Wedding Photographer

If you haven’t paid a visit to Roanoke Island and taken a walk through Historic Downtown Manteo, you are truly missing out! It’s our best kept hidden gem of the Outer Banks, packed with so much history and sprinkled with adorable little shops and some of the best eats you’ll find on the OBX! The charm is endless, and by far one of our favorite spots is the White Doe Inn. This late Queen-Anne style inn was built in 1910 and has been a favorite of travelers, and over the years has become the PERFECT venue for elopements and intimate weddings. Every square inch of the White Doe is beautiful and the garden is an unforgettable backdrop for a ceremony & reception. Over the years we’ve captured countless elopements at the inn, and lately we’ve had more and more intimate weddings – and we’re here for it!

Roxanne and Nick got engaged on the Outer Banks, and they just knew it would be even more special to host their wedding here too. They envisioned and intimate day with their closest family and friends with lots of greenery, and the inn’s garden was the perfect spot. With their ceremony on the gazebo, followed by a delicious dinner on the inn’s beautiful greenery-covered deck, their day couldn’t have been more perfect. The week leading up their wedding had been some of the worst weather the OBX has had all year, and I was thrilled to have the sun shining for their big day. These two love being by the water so we made sure to finish up their day with photos along the Manteo Waterfront as the sun was going down.
