Our style is where classic meets modern, for couples who are joyful & adventurous with a love for the coastal life. We approach your day from an editorial, or magazine-like, standpoint. We’re relaxed and easy going, but we also recognize that a wedding day is a carefully choreographed dance of both organic & curated moments.
We believe every love story, no matter how big or small, is worth capturing in the moment.
Connecting with the wedding day and the people involved on a personal level is hugely important in creating lasting images that will be part of your family legacy. Our approach is a mixture of hanging back to capture the candid moments, while also knowing when to step in and help direct those moments that need it.

Elopements
Did you start planning a traditional wedding and quickly get overwhelmed? It’s OK, you aren’t alone! Intimate Elopements are the
perfect option for couples who just want to get away from it all, opting for a sweet and simple day focused on just the two of you, without the addition of wedding guests.
Our elopement coverage is designed for couples getting married without any of the additional elements to a traditional wedding. These events are up to two hours of coverage, taking place in one location, and are just enough time to capture the ceremony and portraits.

Micro Weddings
Micro Weddings have been quickly gaining traction as the preferred option for couples who still want to celebrate with their nearest and dearest, without sacrificing some of the common elements of a more traditional wedding. We absolutely LOVE photographing these events. We find couples have the time to be intentional with their day and spending time with their loved ones.
Micro Weddings consist of 30 guests or less, and are structured like a traditional wedding, just on a smaller scale. Most times, depending on the event, we’re still capturing getting ready photos, ceremony, family and couples portraits, and some dinner/reception moments. Every wedding day is different, and we’re always happy to chat with you about how best to allocate your coverage time.

a little about me
Hey there, I’m Courtney!
I am a true believer in love stories. In 2012 I married my high-school sweetheart, Rob, after 12 years. Together we’ve shared a journey that has been rich with memories, and cultivated the most amazing life full of adventures together.
We met and married at Pirates Cove Marina, right here on the Outer Banks and now have two little coastal cuties of our own. You could say the water is the essence of our foundation. Our lives revolve around boating and billfish, and many of my couples are also most at home on the water. We split our time between our home in Manteo & the Herradura region of Costa Rica.
Boat days, golden light, and the love of family make my heart go pitter patter.
