The ocean is calling, and what better way to document your family than with beach portraits on the beautiful Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Our sessions are designed to be fun and relaxed, and each session is tailored to fit your family. Our photography and editing style is light & airy, heavily centered around incorporating the “untouched” beauty of the Outer Banks.

For this reason, sessions take place at Coquina Beach in South Nags Head, and are scheduled around sunset. We typically allocate around an hour to capture your family, and love photographing family groups of all sizes as well as high school seniors, maternity, and couples.

Vacation lasts only a short time, but your memories will live on forever.

Single Family Sessions

Designed for the Immediate Family & Couples

These sessions are designed to accommodate a single family consisting of parents + children, couples and/or pets, just the kids, etc. During our time together we will do a large variety of different groupings incorporating both posed and candid photos.

Extended Family Sessions

Designed to capture grandparents, kids, and grandkids all together as one happy family.

Extended family sessions often range from 6-20 people, covering multiple generations into one session. During our time on the beach we will run through our most common combinations to cover everyone together & each individual family.

Senior Portraits

Our senior sessions are relaxed, fun, and a great way to show off your personality while showcasing the beauty of the Outer Banks. Most senior opt for an outfit change or two, and some even like to bring along anything special that is meaningful to them during this season of life.

Session Investment

Session fees are based on the number of people participating in your session. Pricing includes your session, image editing, private online gallery, and digital files for personal printing.

Our Process

Step One

Inquire

Fill out the info form below with all available info about your session/group. We will get back to you ASAP with availability.

Step Two

Get Booked

Once a date has been confirmed you will receive a booking link via email. The session fee and contract and do at booking to secure your date.

Step Three

Hit The Beach

Once your contract and session fee are submitted you’re all set. You will receive a reminder email the week of your session with helpful tips to prepare for your session!

You may be wondering…

Once a date is selected you will receive a custom booking link. Both the contract and session fee are due at booking, and are submitted electronically within our online booking system. Once submitted you’re all set!

Sessions are scheduled for 1 hour prior to sunset, so session start times vary depending on season/date. Once you inquire and we know your session date we can give you an accurate session start time.

Our style is heavily centered around the untouched beauty of the Outer Banks. For this reason our sessions take place at Coquina Beach in South Nags Head. While we do no service the North Beaches, we do services Hatteras Island based on availability.

We do not offer stand-alone mini sessions, only our regular full portrait sessions. We do occasionally offer a round of minis in the fall, where sessions are scheduled back-to-back. If you’re interested in a mini session, please join our newsletter to stay up to date!

We watch the weather closely throughout the day, and try to give it as long as possible to make a call. Usually we’re able to work around the weather by adjusting our time start time. In the event of a full-rain out, your session will be moved to another day. We intentionally take a limited number of sessions each week to ensure availability for rescheduling. We ask that our families be flexible, with the understanding that weather here at the beach can be unpredictable.

We always try to get a quick little sneak peak up on social media with a couple of days. Your full gallery will be delivered within 2-3 weeks of your session via digital download.
