Elopements & Micro Weddings

We know planning a wedding isn’t easy, and our goal is to be transparent and straightforward with our packages. We are happy to add additional coverage or items onto our base packages.

What To Expect

Our Style & Approach

Our style is where classic meets modern, for couples who are joyful & adventurous with a love for the coastal life. We approach your day from an editorial, or magazine-like, standpoint. We’re relaxed and easy going, but we also recognize that a wedding day is a carefully choreographed dance of both organic & curated moments.

Connecting with the wedding and the people involved on a personal level is hugely important in creating lasting images that will be part of your family legacy. Our approach is a mixture of hanging back to capture the candid moments, while also knowing when to step in and help direct those moments that need it.

Destination Wedding Photography

For the Coastal Couple.

We strongly feel that every wedding day deserves the same attention to detail, regardless of how large your wedding is. We approach intimate weddings with the same love and care as a full scale traditional wedding.

let’s talk about

Micro Weddings

We love getting to photograph events of all shapes and sizes, and Micro Weddings are quickly becoming some of our favorite, as it gives couples a chance to really be intentional with their day.

Micro Weddings are events consisting of 30 guests or less, but are still structured like a traditional wedding, just on a smaller scale. This means you’re still having a ceremony, family photos, couples, photos, and reception of some sort – even if it’s simple.

We have found that events still hosting a traditional flow, still need the same kind of photography coverage, just in a slightly condensed way. In most cases we’re still arriving to capture some last minute getting ready photos, ceremony, family formals, couples photos, and some of the reception.

We typically help our couples plan through their timeline to make the most of their coverage. For example, we might suggest putting your “key moments” at the beginning of your reception – such as first dance and toasts. This way we can be present to capture those things without needing to add additional time on to keep us there through the very end.

let’s talk about

Elopements

Did you start planning a traditional wedding and quickly get overwhelmed? It’s OK, you aren’t alone! Intimate Elopements are the
perfect option for couples who just want to get away from it all, opting for a sweet and simple day focused on just the two of you. We know a wedding day can be stressful, but our goal is to help our couples feel relaxed and excited about their day.

Our elopement coverage is designed for couples getting married without any other guests or wedding day formalities. These events provide two hours of photography coverage, taking place in one location, and are just enough time to capture the ceremony and couple portraits.

Your elopement doesn’t have to feel basic, there are many options locally to help enhance your ceremony and we’re happy to make suggestions on ways to make your elopement feel more special.

Frequently Asked Questions…

We require a signed contract and $1,000 non-refundable retainer to secure the date. The remaining balance is due 15 day prior to your wedding date.

If your guest list is over 30, you may add an additional hour of coverage onto the Micro Wedding Package, billed at $500/hr. If your guest list is over 50, it is no longer a micro wedding and we are happy to refer to our full wedding packages.

In our experience, Micro Weddings are designed to be capturing the same key moments as a traditional wedding, just on a MUCH smaller and more intimate scale. As the guest list rises, so does the amount of time it takes to organize guests. We’ve found that we end up trying to rush through too many things in too little amount of time, and that affects our ability to provide adequate coverage.

We recommend that all couples have a solid backup plan in place for their wedding day. Be it a venue or your beach house if applicable. We have little to no public spaces locally that would be able to accommodate a wedding in in climate weather.

We typically deliver around 100 images per hour of coverage.

We always try to have a small preview on social media within 1-2 days. The full gallery is ready within 6-12 weeks, depending on season.

Absolutely! I have a few favorite beaches that we LOVE to photograph if that’s your thing. If you have something else in mind, we’re happy to brainstorm and help you come up with a location.
