Alex and I go way back, we’ve been friends since high school and it’s awesome that we both found our way back here to the OBX, both as photographers. Alex has ALC Photography, and is just a really great friend. In true photographer fashion, we wait until the last possible minute to do our own family pictures, making sure that all of our clients are taken care of. For every bit of a year, Alex has been wanting a silhouette shot of her family – we even postponed this session twice for weather in hopes we could get that shot. We were scrambling to get Alex’s family done…between a sick kid, crazy weather, and other sessions we FINALLY got it! They lucked out with awesome weather – not too cold, and that beautiful sunset that she’s been wanting forever! I like to remind her that she’s lucky it’s our off season. 😉
