It feels like it’s been F O R E V E R since we’ve blogged….and for good reason….it has been! I think we can all agree 2020 was a hott mess express we just couldn’t get in the groove of blogging while shuffling around sessions/weddings that had to be cancelled or postponed for Covid. Instead, we took a hiatus from blogging and instead used the winter downtime to do some revamps and updates to the website. Now that it’s all finished it’s time to catch up on sharing all the things!
While we’ve been back at weddings for a couple of weeks now, I was super pumped to get back out on the beach for portraits with Ian & Audrey. They were my first beach session this season and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. Like a lot of couples they had to make major changes to their wedding plans thanks to Covid, but they didn’t let it get them down. These two are no strangers to the Outer Banks, having lived and worked here during the summer season in the past – so it seemed only fitting to be the location of a little post-wedding honeymoon getaway. Ian is so thoughtful, and planned this session as a surprise for Audrey – and she didn’t even know about it until a few hours before! It was a perfect evening on the beach with the most beautiful light and I couldn’t have asked to get back on the beach with a sweeter couple!
