Kelsey & Caleb’s Outer Banks Engagement Session // OBX Wedding Photographer

One of the best parts about being a destination photographer is getting to work with couples from all over! Caleb’s family has a house on the OBX, and it’s a favorite spot for he and Kelsey – so what better place than to have their engagement photos captured on one of the best beaches?!?! Of course as luck would have it we were wrecked with some of the worst weather that weekend, and I honestly wasn’t sure it was ever going to let up. Thankfully they were so flexible and our afternoon session turned into a mid-morning session as I watched the radar like a hawk. It was probably one of the windiest weekends we’ve had in a long time and these two just totally rolled with the punches. I’m so glad they stuck it out because it ended up being such a great session! We spent a little time on the beach before heading across to the Bodie Island Lighthouse to escape the wind!
