Paige & Parker’s Coastal Engagement Session

A Spring Coastal Outer Banks Engagement Session at Bodie Island Lighthouse & Coquina Beach

Paige & Parker’s engagement session felt like the perfect early hint of spring on the Outer Banks. We met at the iconic Bodie Island Lighthouse before making our way over to the shoreline at Coquina Beach – two locations that offer such a beautiful mix of coastal character and open, natural light.

March on the Outer Banks can truly go either way, but this evening gave us the best of it all…clear skies, comfortable temperatures, and just enough breeze to remind us we were right where we were meant to be. It was the kind of day that feels like a little gift after a long winter.
These two share such an easy, genuine connection, which made the entire session feel effortless.

Having met in college, their story is rooted in Eastern North Carolina. Paige grew up right here on the Outer Banks, while Parker is from a small town along the banks of the Chowan River. There’s something especially meaningful about photographing couples in places that feel like home, and this session carried that sense of familiarity and nostalgia throughout.

We wrapped the evening on the beach as the light softened into those warm, golden tones that make coastal sessions so special. It was the perfect way to celebrate this season of their lives together, and we’re already looking forward to continuing the story when they say “I do” this spring in Edenton, North Carolina.
