Spring Engagement Session at Roanoke Island Festival Park

When chatting with Christine & Mike about their engagement session we went over a few location ideas before finally setting on the gorgeous Roanoke Island Festival Park. A wedding venue in it’s own right, it’s also home to many concerts and community gatherings. But more importantly it’s surrounded by water with a sweet little dock that runs mostly all the way around with some of the best views of the Roanoke Sound & Manteo Waterfront.

Due to scheduling, we actually did their session just before their wedding as they couldn’t make it into town any earlier. With the Spring blooms finally showing up, and a gorgeous sunset to boot, we had a great time walking Festival Park and chatting about all the final details of their upcoming wedding day.
